Exploring uncharted islands is fun and fast-paced, thanks to the easy-to-use controls of this game. As your Pokémon partner journeys through each stage, it will automatically target the nearest wild Pokémon. Tap the screen to direct its attacks—tap quickly to pull off rapid attacks, or hold down on the screen for a moment to charge up a more powerful one!

Whichever tactic you use, you’ll need to gather many Pokémon to build a collection mighty enough to complete your missions!

Find Pokémon Friends!

As you battle wild Pokémon, you’ll find that some of them will join your team. Keep collecting more Pokémon to build up an assortment of heavy hitters. The more you collect the same species of Pokémon, the stronger those Pokémon will be when they join you! If your Pokémon party becomes too large, you can send Pokémon off to the Adventurers Club, which will reward you with coins.

Just be sure to keep your most powerful Pokémon around. Even when you’re not exploring the islands, you can put your strongest Pokémon to the test and earn valuable rewards by battling in tournaments.

Gear Up!

Your Pokémon partners won’t be heading into battle without any help! Exploring various areas throughout each island will occasionally uncover chunks of ore, which can be refined into gears that your Pokémon can equip.

There are two kinds of gears: power gears, which boost a Pokémon’s individual stats and make it more effective in battle, and summon gears, which allow a Pokémon to temporarily call another Pokémon into battle. Choose the best gears to help your Pokémon come out on top!
