The 2018 Pokkén Tournament World Championships will be held Saturday, August 25, in Halls C and D of the Nashville Music City Center. Players in the Masters division will compete for a share of the $20,000 prize pool while players in the Senior division will battle for great prizes. All players will battle for the title of World Champion.
The competition will begin on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the Pokkén Tournament DX area.
Senior division players will compete in an 8-player double elimination bracket beginning at 9:00 a.m. Masters division players will compete in a 16-player double elimination bracket starting at 9:00 a.m. All matches will be played on Nintendo Switch systems connected by LAN cables where each player will play with their own monitor. All matches will be best-of-5 games and most matches will be streamed. Players must use the official Pokkén Tournament DX Pro Pad by HORI. Players may wear wired headphones.
