The Pokémon World Championships will be held outside North America for the first time in history when London, England, hosts the competition August 14–16. The venue for the event is the enormous ExCeL London event center, which has also hosted previous Europe International Championships.

The three-day event is once again expected to be very popular, so make your travel plans now. To make it easy, we’ve created a page where you can find and book hotels near the event center that is kept up to date with the best rates.
The very best Pokémon Trainers will be vying for the title of World Champion, but that’s only the beginning of the fun. Side tournaments, special events, and other activities will be available for all Pokémon fans. Invited players will not have to pay an entry fee to participate at Worlds, but there will be a nominal fee for spectator badges. Stay tuned for more information on the cost and availability of spectator badges.
