Pokémon Day has arrived, and with it comes a new Pokémon Presents, hosted by Tsunekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of The Pokémon Company. The presentation features news and updates from throughout the world of Pokémon, including information about the upcoming Pokémon video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as well as Pokémon Champions, a new title focused on battling.
Additionally, there are updates about the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Concierge, Pokémon GO, Pokémon Masters EX, Pokémon UNITE, Pokémon Sleep, and Pokémon Café ReMix. There is also news about the languages that will be available for video games in the Pokémon series.

A new trailer for the much-anticipated Pokémon Legends: Z-A game shows off more of this adventure set in Lumiose City. With Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as your first partner Pokémon, you’ll start off on a sightseeing tour of the city, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape Lumiose into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon. Discover some of the people and Pokémon you’ll encounter on your journey, and learn about the power of Mega Evolution.
Pokémon Champions is a new title that brings everything you love about Pokémon battles into one place. It will feature new takes on familiar mechanics, allowing rich, varied strategies for new and experienced fans alike. Players will be able to bring in Pokémon from Pokémon HOME and engage in cross-platform battles on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
The Pokémon Day celebration kicks off in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with a collection of in-game events. First, take note of the Mystery Gift password revealed in the Pokémon Presents—enter it into your game, and you can receive a special case for your Rotom Phone. Then, prepare for mass outbreaks of red-, green-, and blue-coloured Pokémon, with an increased likelihood of encountering Shiny Pokémon. The next few weeks will also see a series of Tera Raid Battles against a mighty Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval, so get your teams ready to take on these powerful Pokémon.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket
A new themed booster pack, Triumphant Light, will arrive in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket on 28 February 2025, and there will be a couple in-game events. Look for the return of the Genetic Apex expansion with booster packs that are guaranteed to include at least one card of ◆◆◆◆ rarity or higher. There are also special missions you can complete to earn rewards. If you’re ready to get serious and show off your battle skills, look forward to Ranked Matches, arriving in-game at the end of March.

The stop-motion animated Netflix series Pokémon Concierge has been nominated for multiple awards, and the second season is currently in production. Take a peek at some of the Pokémon we’ll meet in early motion-test footage, and look forward to the further adventures of Haru and Psyduck at the tropical Pokémon Resort in September 2025. In the meantime, the first four episodes of the series are now available to watch on Pokémon’s official YouTube channel for a limited time.
In Pokémon GO, the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global event kicks off on 1 March, during which the Legendary Pokémon Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will appear in Raid Battles and elsewhere. You’ll also have a chance to encounter Victini and Shiny Meloetta. A new season begins in-game on 4 March that features the arrival of Kubfu and Urshifu, and don’t miss the promo code revealed during Pokémon Presents that grants a chance to encounter a Pokémon of your choice from a selection.
Two new master sync pairs were revealed for Pokémon Masters EX: May (Champion) & Shiny Primal Kyogre and Brendan (Champion) & Shiny Primal Groudon. It’s also the game’s 5.5 Year Celebration! Players can log in to receive a present of 3,000 gems.
Three Pokémon will soon be joining the fray in Pokémon UNITE. Be on the lookout for Suicune, Alolan Raichu, and Alcremie. You’re once again able to battle in the memorable Remoat Stadium, which has returned to the game for a limited time. Take part in a new type of Unite Battle—First to 500—in which the first to score 500 points wins. Also look for a new feature called Aeos technology, which grants players special effects each time they score a certain number of points. Pokémon Presents also revealed a gift code for a platinum Suicune boost emblem.
You’ll need to shake off the nightmares in Pokémon Sleep when Cresselia and Darkrai clash in an upcoming event.
Some sweet surprises are being served up in Pokémon Café ReMix, including a new menu item, Appletun Fruitilicious Jelly Soda. Complete a special event in the game, and you can even choose either Flapple or Appletun to join your staff. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly will gradually become available in special outfit packs, if you want to add a little Paldean flavor to your café. Plus, if you log in to the game now, Pikachu in its sweets outfit will join your staff. Log in for three days, and Eevee in its sweets outfit will join you.
Pokémon Series Games’ Available Languages
Video games in the Pokémon series will now be localized in Latin American Spanish, giving even more fans the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful world of Pokémon!
