Whether you enjoy emerald, love lilac, or appreciate aquamarine, Pokémon GO’s Festival of Colors event—running from Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time—has something for everyone. From a colorful Collection Challenge and global event bonuses to encounters with themed Pokémon in the wild and in raids, the Festival of Colors offers up a rainbow of activities and excitement.
Kick off the celebration by adding Oricorio to your Pokédex as it makes its jubilant Pokémon GO debut. Oricorio’s form will differ based on where in the world you encounter it. Trainers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa can catch Baile Style Oricorio. In the Americas, Trainers will find Pom-Pom Style Oricorio. Pa’u Style Oricorio will appear around African, Asian, Pacific, and Caribbean islands; and Trainers in the Asia-Pacific region can encounter Sensu Style Oricorio.
In addition to dancing it up with Oricorio, Trainers around the globe can enjoy an extended Lure Module duration of three hours throughout the event, as well as special surprises when taking GO Snapshots. Take advantage of a colorful Collection Challenge to make progress on your Elite Collector Medal, plus earn 20,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with the flamboyant Oricorio. On top of all that, you can dress for the occasion with new avatar items—including stylish face stickers—that will be available in the in-game shop.
