Trainers, a new Season kicks off September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT! While Pokémon GO Battle League: Hidden Gems offered an exciting Season of fierce battles, GO Battle League: Max Out offers Trainers an opportunity to go full throttle, with several updates that include important changes to attacks and, for the first time, a change to the switch timer. In previous Seasons, Trainers had to wait 60 seconds after switching Pokémon in battle before they could make another switch. During the new Season, that wait time will be decreased to 50 seconds, which will have a significant effect on the pacing and strategy for GO Battle League.
Like collecting and raising Pokémon, participating in Raid Battles, and researching for Professor Willow, taking on other Trainers in battle is an exciting part of the Pokémon GO journey. If you haven’t had a chance to compete in the GO Battle League, it’s a fun way to pit your knowledge and skill against your fellow Trainers, and you can even earn rewards like Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and other goodies.
