Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day Rev-eels Tynamo is the R-eel D-eel

The elegant EleFish Pokémon is ready to electrify.

There might be other fish in the sea, but none of them will shine as brightly as Tynamo when it swims into the Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day spotlight on July 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this time, this Electric-type Pokémon first discovered in the Unova region will appear more frequently in the wild, and Trainers with a little luck on their side might even encounter a Shiny Tynamo. Plus, you’ll want to catch an entire school of Tynamo to take advantage of these event bonuses!

  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon

  • 2× chance of Trainers Level 31 and above receiving Candy XL from catching Pokémon

  • 1/4 Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event

  • Three-hour Lure Module duration

  • Three-hour Incense duration (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)

  • One additional Special Trade per day for a daily maximum of three (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. local time)

  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust (from 2:00 and 10:00 p.m. local time)

Evolve Eelektrik—Tynamo’s first Evolution—during the event or up to five hours afterward to get an Eelektross that knows the Fast Attack Volt Switch. Dive into research with the Tynamo Community Day–exclusive Special Research story available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Take on Timed Research between 2:00 and 10:00 p.m. local time to earn Unova Stones, which are necessary to evolve Eelektrik into Eelektross. You can also complete Field Research tasks to earn rewards including Stardust, Great Balls, additional encounters with Tynamo, and more!

Bonus Raid Battles

Make the most of the Community Day fun with four-star Raid Battles featuring Eelektrik from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. After a successful Raid Battle, more Tynamo will appear around the raid Gym for 30 minutes. These four-star raids are not accessible via Remote Raid Passes—they can only be accessed with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes.

Have a super speci-eel Community Day, Trainers!
