Pokémon GO is going to be heating up during its July Community Day thanks to Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokémon! On Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Tepig will be appearing more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you may even encounter a Shiny one! Plus, if you evolve a Pignite (the evolved form of Tepig) into Emboar during the event or up to two hours afterward, you can get an Emboar that knows Blast Burn, a powerful Charged Attack it can’t normally learn.

There will be additional bonuses available on Community Day as well—Incense and Lures activated during the event will last for three hours, and you’ll earn three times as much Stardust for catching a Pokémon. Don’t forget to take a few snapshots during Community Day hours, either! You just might get a nice surprise.

Tickets to a Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Roasted Berries, will be available in the in-game shop for USD$1 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). There will also be a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins containing 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM.
