Sinistea and Polteageist Make Their Pokémon GO Debuts

The Black Tea Pokémon and its Evolution arrive alongside Shiny Genesect (Chill Drive) during the Just My Cup of Tea event.

You are cordially invited to attend a most ghostly tea party in Pokémon GO during the Just My Cup of Tea event, from Tuesday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. On this auspicious occasion, Sinistea, the Black Tea Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut. Collect 50 Sinistea Candy, and you can even evolve it into Polteageist.


Raids

Be sure to take part in some Raid Battles during the event. Shiny Genesect (Chill Drive) will appear in Pokémon GO for the first time in five-star raids, and you’ll be able to take advantage of a handy pair of bonuses: 2× friendship bonus damage during raids and 50% more Stardust from completing one. Other Event Activities

In addition to all these Pokémon encounters, there will also be special event-themed Field Research tasks that awards Stardust and encounters with event-themed Pokémon, Timed Research that awards XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and a Collection Challenge that awards an encounter with Sinistea.
