Pokémon fandoms collide in the Pokémon GO Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event taking place April 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to April 22, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers will be tickled pink to encounter Tinkatink for the first time in Pokémon GO, along with its Evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. And there’s Tinka-tons more fun with the debut of Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin. Event bonuses include Team GO Rocket balloons appearing more frequently, half Egg Hatch distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event, and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Shiny Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin.
Trainers can look out for even more Pokémon that can be seen in the animated series, with the following Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild.

All Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat will also know the Charged Attack Volt Tackle. Additionally, Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet, and Tinkatink will be hatching from 7 km Eggs during the event. After the event concludes, Tinkatink may hatch from 10 km Eggs.

Pokémon GO’s Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event includes plenty of opportunities to get your research on. Complete event-themed Field Research to earn Stardust and encounters with Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat. Take on free Timed Research to earn XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Paid Timed Research is available for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who complete the paid Timed Research tasks can earn rewards including an Incubator, an event-themed avatar pose, encounters with Tinkatink, and more. Timed Research must be completed, and rewards claimed, by April 22, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
