Get a deeper look at the lives of competitive Pokémon video game players and casters in Road to Worlds: Pokémon Video Game Championships, a three-episode series that follows the year-long journey of Wolfe Glick, Rosemary Kelley, Lou Akcoş-Cromie, and Markus Stadter as they strived to achieve their dreams at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships.
The first episode will premiere on 7 March 2025, on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. You’ll also be able to catch a sneak peek of the full season streamed on the official Pokémon Twitch channel, which will be co-streamed by Wolfe Glick on his channels for unique commentary on his experience throughout the season. At the 2023 Pokémon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, VGC competitors Markus Stadter and former World Champion Wolfe Glick reunite for another opportunity to take the title. Episode 3 – The Moment (21 March 2025 at 21:00 UTC)
The pressure is mounting with the season on the line at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. With all eyes on the action in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, will the sacrifice and year of preparation for competitors and casters be enough?
On 21 March at 21:30 UTC (after Episode 3 debuts), you can tune in to the official Pokémon Twitch channel for a special behind-the-scenes livestream. The cast will share clips and stories from the full season, giving you the chance to learn more about both the making of the series and the cast’s personal journeys. This includes exclusive behind-the-scenes content and commentary from the cast themselves.
Each episode will be available to watch in English, with dubbed audio tracks available in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese via YouTube’s multi-language audio feature. However, the full season sneak peek and the behind-the-scenes wrap-up livestream will only be available in English.
