Ash has had enough tournament experience to know that a trainer must lay even friendship aside to perform as best they can. Not so for his newfound friend and rival, however. Forced to face Ash in his first championship, the less-experienced trainer falters, risking loss by default.  Will he allow his loyalty to Ash to spoil a pivotal battle for the both of them, or will he realize in time that putting forth one’s greatest effort is the best way to honor a friend and rival?
