It also supports Pokémon GO on iOS and Android devices.
There may be restrictions that apply to moving certain Pokémon. Compatibility with Pokémon titles for Nintendo Switch is limited to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME.
Trade Pokémon
There are four ways to trade Pokémon using Pokémon HOME on your mobile device. You can trade Pokémon anywhere and anytime you like.
-
Pokémon placed in the Wonder Box can be traded with people around the world before you even know it! The Pokémon placed in the Wonder Box will be traded even when you’re not using Pokémon HOME.
-
With the GTS, you can specify which Pokémon you want to trade and which Pokémon you want to receive. You’ll then be matched with a Trainer if you each meet each other’s criteria.
-
Room Trade lets you trade Pokémon in a room with up to 20 people.
-
Friend Trade allows you to trade your Pokémon with other Trainers that you’ve become Friends with in Pokémon HOME.
View Detailed Pokémon Info
You can see much more than just Pokédex entries. You can change the Pokémon details page to display information based on the games a Pokémon has been in. Additionally, in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME, the summary screen of Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Bank will show the Pokémon’s stats and information as they were in Pokémon Bank.
The mobile device version of Pokémon HOME also includes the Pokémon Guidebook feature, which allows players to view basic information about Pokémon, such as their Pokédex entries, types, sizes, forms, and more. This information is available even if that Pokémon hasn’t been registered in your National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME. You can also discover which games a Pokémon can be encountered in, which will help you complete your Pokédex.
Receive Mystery Gifts Anywhere
You can receive Mystery Gifts in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME. With this feature, you can receive Mystery Gifts for Pokémon titles on Nintendo Switch! Pokémon received in Pokémon HOME can be directly deposited into a Box in Pokémon HOME.
Occasionally, special Pokémon will be awarded to players as Mystery Gifts in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME for completing specific Pokédexes.
You can also get other gifts, such as items, by getting a code or password in Pokémon HOME and then using that code or password in certain Pokémon titles on Nintendo Switch.
Even More Features
Pokémon HOME is full of other features that you can use to connect with games in the Pokémon series and more! By moving more Pokémon to Pokémon HOME, you can earn Pokémon HOME points and convert them to Battle Points (BP) in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield or League Points (LP) in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
In your Pokémon List, you can view the Pokémon you’ve moved to Pokémon HOME as well as their Abilities and moves. A Pokémon’s moves can also be changed when bringing that Pokémon from Pokémon HOME into a linked game. If you’ve enrolled in the paid Premium Plan, you’ll also have access to the Judge function.
