The Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships is the first big event series in the 2016 North American Play! Pokémon tournament season. Held in cities across the US and Canada in October 2015, each Regional Championships is part of a title-event series where players compete for the title of Regional Champion! Results of the Regional Championships can give a serious boost to a player’s Championship Points, and a chance at awards or even an invitation to the 2016 Pokémon World Championships!
Who Can Play at the Autumn Regional Championships?
There are no prerequisites to enter a Regional Championships. Just show up with a legal TCG deck or video game team and play ALL DAY! Pokémon tournaments use Swiss pairings, so all players can play in every round of an event until the finals are determined.
When Are the Autumn Regional Championships?
The Pokémon Autumn Regionals will be held on the weekends of October 3, 10, and 17, 2015, typically with TCG events beginning on Saturday and video game events beginning on Sunday.
