The Pokémon UNITE Aeos Cup will take place at the 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships. The Aeos Cup has been revamped and now features an open bracket, a $100,000 prize pool, and an invitation to the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. All participants will receive a Pokémon International Championships promo card (while supplies last) just for playing!
Players must comply with the Tournament Rules.
Tournament Format and Structure
Players will compete on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, using the 5v5 draft pick format on the Theia Sky Ruins map in Pokémon UNITE.
In the first phase, teams will battle in Swiss rounds to qualify for the group stage. These will be best-of-one matches, with five rounds of Swiss expected. The number of teams advancing to the group stage will be based on the number of invited teams in attendance. Teams who qualified through the Aeos Cup Play-Ins will be placed directly into the group stage, as will teams invited from other regional zones.
The group stage will comprise 16 teams, in four groups of four teams. The format will be double elimination. The top two from each group advance to the finals.
The Top 8 teams will battle in the finals. The format will be double elimination.
More information on format can be found on the Pokémon UNITE Championship official site.
