This season’s LAIC event will take place at the Expo Center Norte – Pavilhão Azul in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 15 to 17, 2024. It will award high amounts of Championship Points, direct invites to the 2025 World Championships, and more than $500,000 USD in prizes, spread across the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon video game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE competitions.
Some competitions will begin on Friday, November 15, while others will begin on Saturday, November 16. For more detailed information about what to expect as a competitor at LAIC, visit COPAG’s 2025 LAIC Hub. You’ll find all the details you need, from check-in and badge pickup to everything you’ll need for a game of the Pokémon TCG, and more.

Welcome Kit
All competitors will receive a welcome kit filled with Pokémon goodies that includes a cap, playmat, card sleeves, deck box, and more.
Side events and spectator activities will be available for all attendees. An official 2025 LAIC event badge is required to participate in side events. You’ll find a variety of fun ways to play the Pokémon games you love as well as fun activities for Trainers of all experience levels. As you play, you’ll also earn tickets for the prize wall, which can be exchanged for various Pokémon items, including booster packs, Pokémon plush, and more! Give it your best and you may just go home with an extra cool memento from the 2025 Latin America International Championships.
If you’re ready to go all in on one type in the Pokémon TCG, Gym Leader Challenge is the event for you—you can only include one Pokémon type in your deck; Pokémon with a Rule Box (Pokémon ex, Pokémon V, etc.) are banned; and you’re limited to a single copy of each card name that you include.
Maybe you just want to play Pokémon GO around the venue and show off your sweet catches! Pokémon GO scavenger hunts are a staple at live events, and a fun way to collect prize wall tickets as you search for Pokémon that usually appear at Regional Championships and International Championships. It’s a great opportunity to catch some Carbink as well as other Pokémon that appear in competitive play!
And of course, there’s the Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC) and Pokémon UNITE. Turn things topsy-turvy in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with the Malamar Cup as you compete in VGC matches with your Nintendo Switch system held upside down, or gather with four other Trainers on Aeos Island in Pokémon UNITE’s Eevee Cup, where every player is only able to draft from Pokémon that evolve from Eevee.
Check out COPAG’s LAIC Hub for more details about Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE side events and their availability.
