Players do not have to qualify via previous competitions to enter the Pokémon National Championships. Players are required to have a minimum level of participation in the 2015–2016 tournament season, as measured in Play! Points. Players must also be in good standing in the Play! Pokémon program.
Pokémon TCG Players
Masters Division players must have 5 Season Play! Points. Junior and Senior Division players must have 3 Season Play! Points. All players will be charged an entrance fee. Stay tuned for details.
Registration will be guaranteed to the first 224 Junior Division players, 360 Senior Division players, and 1024 Masters Division players. While we will attempt to accommodate every player who wishes to participate, we cannot guarantee seating beyond these limits.
The Pokémon TCG US National Championships are open to legal residents of the US only. Residency in this case is defined as a person who legally resides in the United States or one of its territories. Players may participate in only one National Championships event per year, even if they have dual residency.
Pokémon Video Game Players

The Pokémon VG US National Championships are open to all players, regardless of their country of residency.
