The Pokémon National Championships is an open event, meaning players do not have to qualify via previous competitions to enter.

Pokémon TCG Players

Masters Division players must have 10 Play! Points and pay a $30 entry fee. Junior and Senior Division players must have 5 Play! Points (entry is free).

Registration will be guaranteed to the first 270 Junior Division players, 324 Senior Division players, and 972 Masters Division players. While we will attempt to accommodate every player who wishes to participate, we cannot guarantee seating beyond these limits.

The Pokémon TCG US National Championships are open to legal residents of the US only. Residency in this case is defined as a person who legally resides in the United States or one of its territories. Players may participate in only one National Championships event per year, even if they have dual residency.

Pokémon Video Game Players

There are no eligibility requirements for players in good standing for the Pokémon video game tournament.

Registration will be guaranteed to the first 150 Junior Division players, 250 Senior Division players, and 800 Masters Division players. While we will attempt to accommodate every player who wishes to participate, we cannot guarantee seating beyond these limits.

The Pokémon VG US National Championships is open to all players, regardless of their country of residency.
