Player check-in will begin on Thursday and continue at various times throughout the weekend. Players who have registered online and have confirmed that their names are on the confirmation list do not need to check in prior to their players meeting. However, they will need to check in at some point during the weekend to receive their Nationals registration items.
The Pokémon US National Championships hosts a full schedule of side events for all attendees, regardless of whether you are playing in the main event. Come battle for great prizes in smaller Pokémon TCG, video game, and Pokkén Tournament competitions throughout the weekend. Most side events require an entry fee. See the side events area at the US National Championships for more details.
Many side events will be split up into 8-player groups called pods. Each pod will be run as a separate single-elimination tournament with its own winner.
