Select Online Competitions called Global Challenges award Championship Points like live Pokémon Video Game Championship events do. These competitions are held over the span of a few days via the Battle Stadium, and feature players from across the globe competing in their home regions for a World Championships invite! The format is a little different from in-person events, providing new challenges for competitors. Grand Challenges are essentially the same as Global Challenges—the only difference is that they are limited to competitors within regions managed by The Pokémon Company International.
