Pokémon VGC players at the Liverpool Regional Championships competed using the Series 1 format. Battles took place in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games. Players were permitted to use all Pokémon available in the Paldea Pokédex, except for Paradox Pokémon and Legendary Pokémon.
