It’s Palentine’s Day on Pasio, and what better way to celebrate than with sweet treats! Back in 2023, Mallow donned an adorable ensemble to match her Appletun, who she received as an Applin from Victor. This year, Victor is teaching a cooking class alongside his partner Greedent for all on Pasio to join. Among his students is none other than Candice with her cool new outfit and partner, Galarian Darmanitan. Look forward to everything that’s cooking in Story Event: Victor’s Cooking Class.
Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent
Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent are a Normal-type support sync pair with a penchant for Berries and their sweet sustenance. Most support sync pairs in Pokémon Masters EX use Trainer moves like Potion to keep their teammates healthy in battle, but Victor & Greedent forage an organic approach with a new type of Trainer move, Sitrus Berry. This Berry restores an ally’s HP by approximately 20% of its maximum HP, but it also has deep synergy with Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent’s buddy move and passive skills.
Greedent is known for its voracious appetite but also for drawing strength from what it eats. Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent’s buddy move, Hyper Belch, does just that! When the remaining MP for Sitrus Berry is two or lower, this move can be used to lower the target’s Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def by two stat ranks and leave the target badly poisoned. Their A Little Nibble passive skill also helps to make their powerful buddy move available sooner. When Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent’s HP is reduced to 50 percent or less by an opponent’s attack, they recover 40 percent of their maximum HP and gain the Enduring effect at the cost of 1 MP from a move with the “berry” tag—in this case, Sitrus Berry.
For more details on this sync pair’s passive skills and moves, check out their in-game sync pair scout screen. Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent are available to scout until February 26, 2024, at 9:59 p.m. PST.
Recommended Sync Pairs to Partner with
Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent
-
Nessa & Drednaw
Nessa & Drednaw’s sync move, Flood the Stadium Liquidation, has some of the highest damage potential of any sync move in Pokémon Masters EX thanks to their numerous passive skills and sync grid tiles that increase move damage. One of these sync grid tiles is Relentless, which powers up the user’s sync move the more the target’s Defense has been lowered. Ordinarily, Nessa & Drednaw would have to rely on Razor Shell to lower their opponents’ Defense, but Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent speed up the process with Hyper Belch.Nessa & Drednaw are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Galar Ticket Scout.

Allister & Gengar
Like Nessa & Drednaw, Allister & Gengar excel at powering up their moves with their sync grid tiles and passive skills. Their sync grid tile Sludge Bomb: Toxic Power 2 and passive skill Toxic Power 3 increase the damage from their Sludge Bomb when the target is poisoned or badly poisoned. Instead of relying on Sludge Bomb for just a chance to poison the opponent, Victor (Palentine’s 2024) & Greedent’s Hyper Belch will guarantee that they’ll be badly poisoned for the bonus damage.Allister & Gengar are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Galar Ticket Scout.
Get ready for another satisfying Palentine’s Day, Trainers!
