Trick-or-Treat can also indirectly increase the damage Morty & Drifblim deal with Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, and their sync move, Mystic Seer Phantom Force, by lowering the target’s Ghost Type Rebuff. Acerola & Palossand
Acerola & Palossand are one of the bulkiest Ghost-type sync pairs around, and with Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist on their side, they’ll have no problem sticking through a full battle. Allister (Fall 2022) & Gourgeist’s X Defense All can help raise Acerola & Palossand’s Defense up to its maximum of six stat ranks. Additionally, Acerola & Palossand benefit from both sync pairs sharing the theme skill Ghost Support, granting them a solid amount of bonus HP. Acerola & Palossand can be acquired after completing Chapter 17 of the PML arc of the main story.

Looker & Croagunk are one of the newest sync pairs to land on Pasio—and currently one of the strongest Poison-type sync pairs. Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel can’t directly raise Looker & Croagunk’s stats, but the Poison Zone created by their Poison Wish can greatly increase Looker & Croagunk’s damage. Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel’s passive skill Toxic Chance 2 also has a good chance of poisoning opponents, which means if you select Toxic Power 2 and Virulent Toxin 5 on Looker & Croagunk’s sync grid, then together, the two sync pairs can deal massive damage. Looker & Croagunk are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs.
Sabrina & Alakazam
Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel are great at increasing Poison-type allies’ damage, but they can also deal plenty of damage on their own with Hyper Beam and the bonuses from Poison Wish’s Poison Zone. And with Sixth Sense! and Dire Hit All, Sabrina & Alakazam can boost Iris (Fall 2022) & Naganadel even more by raising their Sp. Atk and critical-hit rate to their maximum stat ranks, allowing them to deal max damage. Sabrina & Alakazam’s Reflect can also provide defense for sync pairs that have no self-healing or defensive stat buffs.
