Trainers planning to compete in the 2019 Pokémon World Championships should be aware of an additional rule. In both the Pokémon TCG World Championships and accompanying Pokémon TCG side events in Washington, DC, the newly released Supporter card Blaine’s Quiz Show (Sun & Moon—Unified Minds, 186/236) will not be legal for play in either the Standard or Expanded format.

This card is being prohibited from play at the 2019 Pokémon World Championships because it has the potential to create complications in a multilingual tournament environment. The card is still under review for legality at events that take place after Worlds.
