Dialga and Palkia made their Pokémon TCG Pocket debut in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, but now the very creator of Sinnoh is ready to take center stage. The Mythical Pokémon Arceus is headlining the exciting new Triumphant Light expansion, descending from Mt. Coronet as it makes its debut as a powerful Pokémon ex—and bringing along with it unique Link Abilities.
Triumphant Light features over 70 brand-new cards including Trainers, powerful Pokémon ex, gorgeous immersive cards, and the introduction of powerful and unique Link Abilities! New cards aren’t the only thing to look forward to, though—a special in-game event coinciding with Pokémon Day and Triumphant Light’s release features no-cost booster packs that are guaranteed to contain rare cards.
Pokémon cards with Link Abilities are marked with a distinctive pattern similar to that on the physical cards featuring Arceus in Pokémon Trading Card Game: Platinum—Arceus expansion. In Platinum—Arceus’s case, the pattern was largely cosmetic—but the cards debuting in Triumphant Light have something new to offer. When these Pokémon are in play alongside Arceus or Arceus ex, their powerful Link Abilities combine to shake up a battle together. Read on to learn about some of the Pokémon with Link Abilities you may encounter while opening packs!
