Starting on October 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time, Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and Falinks will make their Pokémon GO Dynamax debuts as Power Spot Bosses in Max Battles. You’ll find Galar’s trio of first partner Pokémon in one-star Max Battles, and the Formation Pokémon holding its ground as the first Pokémon to debut in three-star Max Battles—and if you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Falinks! Challenge and defeat these Pokémon for a chance to catch them and deepen your Dynamax Pokémon roster for future grand encounters.

Three-star Max Battles are going to kick it up a notch, so here’s a quick breakdown on how to prepare.

• You can collect up to 800 Max Particles a day by adventuring a certain distance or collecting them at Power Spots.

• You can only hold 1,000 Max Particles at a time.

• Max Particles are necessary to participate in Max Battles.

• Max Particles can be used to teach your Dynamax Pokémon Max Moves.

• Max Particles can be used to power up your Dynamax Pokémon's Max Moves.
