Regidrago makes its Pokémon GO debut in Elite Raids, an especially challenging variety of Raid Battle that requires more Trainers than the average confrontation. Keep in mind that Regidrago is weak to Dragon-type, Ice-type, and Fairy-type moves. If you want to avoid the maws of defeat, it’s best to battle using Pokémon with powerful attacks matching those types.
Elite Raids appear from special Raid Eggs that take 24 hours to hatch. Once the Raid Egg hatches, a Raid Boss will appear for 30 minutes. Elite Raid bosses can only be battled in-person—Trainers will not be able to participate in Elite Raids using a Remote Raid Pass. Get together with your local community and tip the scales against this powerful Legendary Pokémon!

Defeating Regidrago will yield exclusive Timed Research that can only be received once. Complete the research tasks to earn Regirock Candy, Regice Candy, and Registeel Candy that you can use to further strengthen these Legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region.
