Starting at 7:00 a.m. PST on Monday, February 27, 2023, Trainers can connect their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game to Pokémon GO to receive Gimmighoul Coins and other items, as well as gain the opportunity to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon GO! When a Postcard is sent from Pokémon GO to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, the recipient of the Postcard can receive copious amounts of Gimmighoul Coins and various other items. Once you collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, Chest Form Gimmighoul will evolve into Gholdengo after it levels up.
After connecting Pokémon GO to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet and sending a Postcard, you’ll be able to use the Coin Bag in Pokémon GO. When you use the Coin Bag, Roaming Form Gimmighoul will appear in your surrounding area for a limited time. If you connect Pokémon GO to Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet multiple times, you’ll also be able to obtain Golden Lure Modules. Using a Golden Lure Module changes PokéStops into Golden PokéStops and allows you to collect Gimmighoul Coins by spinning the Photo Discs. Roaming Form Gimmighoul will also appear at these Golden PokéStops on rare occasions.
To evolve Roaming Form Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokémon GO, you will need 999 Gimmighoul Coins in the app. Gimmighoul Coins can be obtained by catching Roaming Form Gimmighoul, spinning Golden Photo Discs, and walking with Gimmighoul as your buddy.
