Pokémon GO’s June 2024 Community Day Classic is going to be fire—(mostly) figuratively—with Cyndaquil headlining the event. On Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Cyndaquil will appear more frequently in the wild, and lucky Trainers might even encounter a Shiny one! And if that’s not enough heat for you, you’ll also be able to evolve Quilava (Cyndaquil’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Typhlosion that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
Temperature still too low for you? Don’t forget that these red-hot bonuses will be active during the event, too.

Research
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire—to be researched, that is! Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn smokin’ rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, Cyndaquil encounters, and even more. And keep the heat levels up with a Special Research story, available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Tickets are available for purchase in the in-game shop, and you can even stoke the flames of camaraderie and purchase a ticket for a friend with whom you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
