Drasna & Dragalge Are Here to Play in Pokémon Masters EX

This sync pair adds Dragon-type might and powerful poison to your team.

Drasna, one of the Kalos region’s Elite Four, is ready to join your Pokémon Masters EX team alongside her partner Dragalge. This duo has appeared before as an opponent in the Champion Stadium, but now they’re available to battle at your side.

Drasna & Dragalge are a Dragon-type tech sync pair who can use Sludge Bomb and Toxic to leave opponents poisoned. Beyond the usefulness of poisoning your opponent, this sync pair’s Infinite Smile Dragon Pulse sync move gets a power boost when used against an opponent that is poisoned or badly poisoned.

Drasna & Dragalge are available to scout until August 27, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Recommended Sync Pairs to Partner with Drasna & Dragalge

  • Skyla & Swanna

Drasna & Dragalge do a solid job of raising their own offensive stats with Simply Charming!, but both Sludge Bomb and Draco Meteor each consume three move gauge slots, which can tax the move gauge. To keep the move gauge moving, use Skyla & Swanna’s Take Flight! to raise the Defense and Speed of all sync pairs by two stat ranks. Take Flight! can be used at least twice—or even three times or more if Skyla & Swanna’s sync grid tile Take Flight! : MP Refresh 3 is unlocked. As a support sync pair, they also have one of the best healing Trainer moves in the game: Potion. Skyla & Swanna can be acquired after completing Chapter 5 of the main story.

  • Professor Sycamore & Xerneas

When you’re looking for a support sync pair to boost special damage, look no further than Professor Sycamore & Xerneas. Their sync move, Gentlemanly Geomancy, can fully raise Drasna & Dragalge’s Sp. Atk to its maximum for peak damage output. Not only that, but Professor Sycamore & Xerneas’s The World Is Vast Trainer move applies the Move Gauge Acceleration effect to the allied field of play, alleviating move gauge sluggishness. These two sync pairs also share the Kalos theme skill, granting both an additional stat bonus when on the same team. Professor Sycamore & Xerneas can be obtained after completing Give and Take in the Legendary Adventures section of the main story.
