Druddigon Debuts in Pokémon GO During the Dragonspiral Descent Event

Add this Dragon-type Pokémon to your Pokédex, and face off against the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom in Raid Battles.

Druddigon, a Dragon-type Pokémon that dwells within the Unova region’s Dragonspiral Tower, is making its Pokémon GO debut! From Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Dragonspiral Descent event will feature not only Druddigon but also other Pokémon that call Dragonspiral Tower their home.

Here are just some of the Pokémon you can encounter during this event.

  • Dratini, Sneasel, Blitzle, and Darumaka will be appearing more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter Dragonair, Vibrava, or Deino.

  • Druddigon will be appearing in three-star raids while the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be appearing in five-star raids. Mega Steelix will be appearing in Mega Raids.

  • Pokémon featured during 2020’s Community Day events—such as Charmander, Abra, Porygon, and Piplup—will be hatching from Eggs.

  • Dratini and Sneasel will be available to encounter when you complete Field Research tasks. If you’re lucky, you might encounter Deino or Druddigon.

Additionally, there will be a new Collection Challenge featuring Pokémon that will be appearing during the event. Completing the Collection Challenge will earn you 1,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Druddigon.

Don’t drag your feet on this event, Trainers—head out and add Druddigon to your team!
