Raikou is coming soon to Pokémon Sleep, and you’ll want to galvanize your research team ahead of its thundering arrival. To prepare for this Legendary Pokémon’s debut, we encourage you to befriend plenty of Electric-type Pokémon during Electric Type Week, which runs from Monday, March 11, at 4:00 a.m. to Monday, March 18, at 3:59 a.m. local time. During this event, Electric-type Pokémon will be more likely to appear, and you’ll be able to meet Pokémon of various sleep types regardless of your own.
Trainers can look forward to using the Mini Candy Boost function, which doubles the effect of Pokémon Candies at the cost of quadrupling Dream Shard usage—perfect for powering up Electric-type Pokémon in preparation for the Raikou Research event. Dedenne will also make its debut during Electric Type Week, and Trainers can complete limited-time missions to earn rewards—including Dedenne Incense, which can be used to encounter the Antenna Pokémon during sleep research.
The Electric-type Pokémon that are more likely to appear during the event are as follows.
-
Pikachu (Greengrass Isle / Cyan Beach / Lapis Lakeside)
-
Raichu (Greengrass Isle)
-
Jolteon (Greengrass Isle)
