Golden PokéStops will randomly appear throughout the event—no Golden Lure Module required! Although Roaming Form Gimmighoul won’t appear at Golden PokéStops where a Golden Lure Module wasn’t used, Trainers can still grab Gimmighoul Coins by spinning Golden PokéStops while taking on event-themed Field Research tasks and completing Timed Research.

Spin Photo Discs at PokéStops for Field Research tasks that reward an encounter with one of the following Pokémon. If you’re lucky, they might even appear as Shiny Pokémon—and it looks like they all might have something in common.

• Sableye

• Barboach

The following Pokémon are worth their weight in gold and will appear in the wild throughout the event.

Go for the gold with Timed Research available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). These research tasks must be completed by June 3, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can purchase Timed Research tickets for friends they’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
