The first part of Pokémon GO’s winter holiday extravaganza is drawing to a close, but the festivities will continue with Part 2. From December 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to December 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, there’s still snow much fun to be had. Eevee and its Evolutions will be donning their finest holiday hats, and other Pokémon will appear in festive attire! Delibird, Cubchoo, and Beartic are all wearing holiday ribbons, and Pikachu is wearing a Winter Carnival outfit. Throughout the event, Trainers can store up to 40 Gifts. And mark your calendars—Hisuian Avalugg makes its Pokémon GO debut with a special Raid Day on December 24, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Take on the “Winter Wishes” Timed Research and select the path you wish for most. Trainers can opt to focus on catching Pokémon, hatching Eggs, or collecting Stardust—there are different tasks and bonuses for each path! Trainers that complete the Timed Research will earn an encounter with Galarian Mr. Mime. For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), Trainers can also access additional event-exclusive Timed Research that awards an event-themed avatar pose, two Incubators, one Incense, Abomasnow Mega Energy, and various event-themed Pokémon encounters.
Winter Wonderland
Trainers can enjoy even more bonuses during a special Winter Wonderland event that will run from December 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time! During the event, you can spread the cheer with one extra Special Trade per day and enjoy an additional 15 minutes of Daily Adventure Incense. Complete the Winter Wonderland Collection Challenge by December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time to earn an encounter with Galarian Mr. Mime, XP, and an Incense. Finally, the number of guaranteed Lucky Trades that a Trainer can make will be permanently increased from 10 to 15—if you trade a Pokémon that’s been in a Trainer’s storage since 2017, you’ll get a guaranteed Lucky Pokémon until that limit is reached!
