Sunshine’s fine, but it can’t quite match the drama of a stormy day, with fierce wind and pelting rain. Pokémon GO’s Weather Week event, which runs from Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 29, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. local time, is all about celebrating that inclement weather and the Pokémon that revel in it. Pokémon like Wingull, Rainy Form Castform, and Ducklett will be appearing more frequently in the wild—you might even find a Shiny Rainy Form Castform, if you’re lucky!
During Weather Week, you can complete event-exclusive Field Research and Timed Research to earn rewards like encounters with Rainy Form Castform and more. Plus, you can get new spring-themed avatar items in the shop to dress for the occasion.
The first half of the event is rain themed, and Pokémon like Vaporeon, Lotad, and Stunfisk will be appearing more frequently in the wild through Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Then, for the rest of Weather Week, Pokémon that enjoy windy conditions—like Skarmory, Taillow, and Pidove—will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
Pokémon like Psyduck, Poliwag, Swablu, Drifloon, Mantyke, Tympole, and Ducklett will be hatching from 5 km Eggs throughout the event!
During Weather Week, one-star raids will feature Pokémon like Slowpoke, Tynamo, and more. In three-star raids, look out for Pokémon like Swellow, Pelipper, and more. In five-star raids, you can challenge Therian Forme Thundurus. And finally, Mega Raids will feature Mega Houndoom, Mega Manectric, and Mega Abomasnow.
Enjoy the weather—and the event!
