In Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker, Ash and his friends attend the Millennium Festival to witness the arrival of the Millennium Comet, which is said to grant the wishes of those who observe it. During the celebration, Max meets and befriends Jirachi. However, a magician known as the Great Butler has his own plans for the Mythical Pokémon—using its powers to revive the Legendary Pokémon Groudon. Max, Ash, May, and Brock must stop the wicked magician and save Jirachi before Groudon reigns destruction over the land.
Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys sees our heroes visiting high-tech LaRousse City, where a visit to their renowned Battle Tower introduces Ash to a boy named Tory—who happens to be scared of all Pokémon. Tory’s fears seem justified when Deoxys appears and takes control of the city. This does not amuse the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza, who will do whatever it takes to remove the invading Mythical Pokémon from its territory. Ash, Tory, and all their friends find themselves in the middle of this dangerous conflict!
