In Pokémon 4Ever, Ash, Misty, and Brock are exploring a forest when they encounter the Mythical Pokémon Celebi, who has the power to travel through time. They also meet and befriend a young boy named Sammy who was protecting Celebi from being captured 40 years in the past when he was suddenly transported to the present day. Unfortunately, Celebi is still in danger, this time from the Iron Masked Marauder. Together, the group must battle to save Celebi—and hopefully return Sammy to his proper era.

Pokémon Heroes tells the story of the city of Altomare, which is protected by the Legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios. While visiting the city to participate in a race through the city’s canals, Ash learns that a pair of thieves named Annie and Oakley are after the two Legendary Pokémon as well as a mysterious jewel called the Soul Dew. The fiendish scheme threatens not only Latias and Latios but also the entire city.
