The Ground-type Pokémon Trapinch will be the star of October’s Pokémon GO Community Day, and you’ll definitely want to catch as many of these Pokémon as you can during the event. This month’s Community Day event will happen on Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time.
Trapinch will appear much more frequently in the wild during this time, and if you’re lucky, you might even find a Shiny Trapinch! If you evolve Vibrava (the Evolution of Trapinch) into Flygon during the event or up to two hours afterward, the Flygon will know the move Earth Power, which it can’t normally learn. You may even receive 2 km Eggs that will hatch into Trapinch if you spin PokéStops during Community Day hours. Plus, Lure Modules will last for three hours, and you’ll earn three times the Catch XP for catching Pokémon during the event.
Have fun on Trapinch Community Day, Trainers!
