From Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time, Trainers will have lots of opportunities to catch, hatch, and battle in raids to encounter Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region. With different Pokémon appearing in five-star raids each day of the event, research opportunities potentially culminating in an encounter with Legendary Pokémon, and more, the Road to Unova is one worth traveling!

The Road to Unova event offers plenty of riveting research opportunities. Take on Timed Research to earn encounters with Terrakion, Cobalion, Virizion, Therian Forme Tornadus, Therian Forme Thundurus, Therian Forme Landorus, Genesect, Genesect (Burn Drive), Genesect (Douse Drive), Genesect (Shock Drive), and Genesect (Chill Drive). Pokémon GO Tour: Unova–themed Field Research tasks will also be available throughout the event! Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Roggenrola, Timburr, Karrablast, and Shelmet.

Road to Unova Paid Tickets

Trainers looking to enhance their event experience with additional bonuses, event-themed Timed Research, and new avatar items can purchase Road to Unova tickets from Monday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m. local time.

For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), The Road to Unova: Raids ticket grants access to Timed Research that awards 5 Cobalion Candy XL, 5 Terrakion Candy XL, 5 Virizion Candy XL, 5 Tornadus Candy XL, 5 Thundurus Candy XL, 10 Reshiram Candy XL, 10 Zekrom Candy XL, 5 Landorus Candy XL, 25 Genesect Candy XL, and a Black and White Joggers avatar item.
