Those extra battles will come with big rewards, including quadruple Stardust for winning. Plus, free and paid battle-themed Timed Research will also be available. GO Battle Weekend: Clay packs a real rewarding punch! Trainers who complete the free Timed Research will earn a Clay-Style Hat. Plus, paid Timed Research will be available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who successfully complete the paid Timed Research tasks before July 2, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time will earn 30,000 Stardust, three Rare Candies, one Star Piece, and—if your Trainer Level is 31 or above—three Rare Candy XL. Trainers can purchase and gift research tickets to any Pokémon GO friend that they’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
