From June 7 at 10:00 a.m. to June 12, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Slakoth wearing a visor, Vigoroth wearing a visor, and Slaking wearing a visor will all be available for the first time in Pokémon GO. Enjoy double XP for catching Pokémon, which will come in handy with plenty of sleepy, beachy Pokémon appearing in the wild. Keep an eye out for Psyduck, Slowpoke, Drowzee, Mareep, Slakoth wearing a visor, Oranguru, Sandygast, Munna, and Komala.

Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn encounters with Psyduck, Drowzee, Mareep, Slakoth wearing a visor, Oranguru, Sandygast, and Komala. Trainers who connect a Pokémon GO Plus + device can enjoy Timed Research opportunities with rewards including Stardust and encounters with Snorlax wearing a nightcap, Slakoth wearing a visor, and Komala.
The event goes yawn with paid Timed Research, which is available for US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Rewards for completing this research include a Komala Backpack avatar item, Stardust, XP, Silver Pinap Berries, encounters with Slakoth wearing a visor and Komala, and more.
