Strike with Bianca (Champion) & Virizion’s Sacred Sword in Pokémon Masters EX

Empower your Fighting-type sync pairs with this legendary sync pair combination from the Unova region.

Take your seat at the roundtable and prepare to slash through the competition with the Fighting-type strike sync pair Biana (Champion) & Virizion. Their powerful buddy move White Light Sacred Sword never misses, ignores the target’s stat boosts, and lowers the target’s Attack and Sp. Atk by three stat ranks. On top of that, it lowers the target’s Fighting Type Rebuff by two ranks, setting up for a full Fighting-type sync pair beatdown.

Bianca (Champion) & Virizion can only use White Light Sacred Sword when Unova Circle (Defensive) is applied to the allied field of play, but this sync pair can apply this field effect in two different ways—via their passive skill The Will to Protect, and by using their Trainer move Unova Solidarity.

The Will to Protect sets Unova Circle (Defensive) when Bianca (Champion) & Virizion enter a battle for the first time, allowing them to use White Light Sacred Sword right away. It also persistently activates a Free Move Next effect when their attack moves are successful while Unova Circle (Defensive) is in play. Most Fighting-type sync pairs have hefty move gauge costs, so this passive skill greatly eases their dependency on that resource in battle.

Bianca (Champion) & Virizion’s Unova Solidarity increases the Physical Moves ↑ Next effect and Special Moves ↑ Next effect of all allied sync pairs by one rank, and they can typically use this Trainer move at least twice per battle. Unova Circle (Defensive) also powers up all allies’ attack moves and sync moves and reduces the damage allies take from attack moves and sync moves—and these bonuses get even better with each additional sync pair with the Unova theme skill on your team!

For more details on this sync pair’s passive skills and moves, check out Bianca (Champion) & Virizion’s in-game sync pair scout screen. Bianca (Champion) & Virizion are available to scout from June 1, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to July 9, 2024, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Recommended Sync Pairs to Partner with Bianca (Champion) & Virizion

Marshal & Conkeldurr

Marshall & Conkeldurr don’t have the most powerful moves, but they can raise their own attack with X Attack and deal solid damage with Dynamic Punch. With Bianca (Champion) & Virizion lowering the Fighting Type Rebuff of their target by two ranks, Marshall & Conkeldurr’s damage output goes up significantly. More importantly, Marshall & Conkeldurr’s Unova theme skill increases the bonuses they receive from both Unova Circle (Defensive) and Bianca (Champion) & Virizion’s Unova Flag Bearer, empowering them and the rest of their team.

Marshall & Conkeldurr are available to scout from the general pool of 4★ sync pairs, as well as from the daily scout.

Sonia & Yamper

Between White Light Sacred Sword lowering Fighting Type Rebuff and Unova Circle (Defensive) raising the damage of attack moves, Bianca (Champion) & Virizion are not lacking in offensive potential. However, their Trainer move First Step to Glory only raises their Attack stat by four stat ranks—this means they need additional support to max out their Attack stat. Sonia & Yamper can easily do this with their Trainer move Ruff Buff!, and they can increase Bianca (Champion) & Virizion’s damage output even more by lowering their target’s Defense with Defense Crush 9!

Sonia & Yamper are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Galar Ticket Scout.

Fight on, Trainers!
