Shiny Fomantis will also make its Pokémon GO debut. Plus, different featured Pokémon will appear during both the day and night. Collection Challenges
The horizon is bright with two themed Collection Challenges. Catch all the Pokémon on the list to receive Stardust and earn encounters with Fomantis. And don’t forget: Shiny Fomantis is making its Pokémon GO debut!
Special Research
Reach for the stars with the Special Research story Starry Skies, available for US$5.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency.) Tickets will be available for purchase through June 25, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This ticket gives Trainers another set of the Starry Skies Special Research that all Trainers will initially receive at no cost, which means Trainers have the chance to encounter Cosmog one additional time!
Team GO Rocket Returns
Pokémon GO’s ubiquitous villainous team is up to their old tricks from June 21, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. to June 25, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time, during which Grunts will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. Those Charged TMs you’ve been saving will also come in handy—Trainers can use them to help their Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration. Additionally, a new Special Research story will give bold Trainers the opportunity to use a Super Rocket Radar to chase down Giovanni and his Shadow Regirock.
Team GO Rocket is armed with new Shadow Pokémon this time around, so be prepared to encounter Shadow Alolan Geodude, Shadow Ledyba, Shadow Hitmontop, Shadow Glameow, Shadow Gible, and more. And take on the Team GO Rocket Leaders for a chance to get 12 km Eggs—Shiny Pancham is making its Pokémon GO debut as one of the Pokémon that may hatch from these special Eggs!
Shine on, Trainers!
