The time has come to see if you have the skills to make it as a Galar–region Gym Leader in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Gym Challenge online competition. From Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. PST until Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 3:59 p.m. PST, players can compete using Battle Teams comprised only of Pokémon featured on the teams of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Gym Leaders. Participate in at least one battle, and you’ll receive a participation gift of 50 Battle Points, regardless of whether you win or lose.
The Gym Challenge is comprised of Single Battles. Duplicate Pokémon and duplicate items are not permitted.
Results and Gifts
To view your rankings after the competition has ended, follow these steps:
Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
Open the X menu.
Select VS.
Select Battle Stadium.
Select Online Competitions.
Select Search Official Competitions.
To receive your participation gift after the competition, follow these steps:
Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
Open the X menu.
Select Mystery Gift.
Select Get a Mystery Gift.
Select Get Battle Stadium Rewards.
Go show your opponents who’s boss with your team of battle-tested, Gym Leader-approved Pokémon. Good luck in the Gym Challenge!
