To celebrate the recent release of the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Sun & Moon—Unified Minds, GameStop is hosting a Pokémon Trade & Play event at all its store locations on Saturday, August 17. Pokémon fans are invited to visit GameStop from 2 to 4 p.m. local time for giveaways and to interact with other fans.
Attendees will receive a special oversize Pokémon TCG booster pack that contains a mini pack with 3 Pokémon TCG cards, a Pokémon coin, and activity sheet, and a guide to trading. Players can also bring their own cards to show off and trade with other attendees and with the store. Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to check out all the latest Pokémon TCG products.
As a bonus, Pokémon Pass users can receive a digital sticker for use with the app on the day of the event. To receive the digital sticker, you’ll need to download the Pokémon Pass app for select iOS and Android devices. Pokémon Pass is available to download from the App Store and Google Play at no cost.
