Standard format

No changes have been made to the banned card list for the Standard format.

Expanded format

No changes have been made to the banned card list for the Expanded format.

Rule Changes

Lysandre and Boss's Orders cannot be included in the same deck. This is similar to the rule that says Professor Juniper, Professor Sycamore, and Professor's Research cannot be included in the same deck.

Details of Changes

No cards were banned from the Standard format. It will be an extremely rare occurrence for cards to be banned from the Standard format.

With all sanctioned Play! Pokémon events canceled until further notice, no cards are getting banned from the Expanded format right now. While recent results indicate there may have been some challenges with the current Expanded format environment, those issues will be addressed in a future update.

Tournament results and community feedback will continue to be analyzed to maintain a healthy play environment. In particular, the Expanded format will be actively monitored, as there are many cards and potential combinations available to use.
